Cooking potato nests with mushrooms:

Step 1: Cook the mashed potatoes.

Mashed potatoes should be very thick. And we will use hot mashed potatoes. Peel the potatoes, cut into cubes and cook until ready (about 20 minutes). In the mashed potatoes we add very little milk, but we do not regret the eggs, as they will give the mashed potatoes a shape.

Step 2: Prepare the filling.

I prefer mushroom stuffing, but you can also use stuffing from meat, sausages, liver, etc. Mushrooms, mushrooms, peel, wash and chop, but not very finely. We put the pan to warm up, after pouring vegetable oil into it. Once the pan is heated, pour the chopped mushrooms into it. At this point, chop the onion, and add it to the mushrooms, salt, cover and simmer for about 10 minutes. The filling is ready.

Step 3: Cook the Mashed Potato Nests.

We take a baking sheet, line parchment paper on it, and sprinkle it with wheat breadcrumbs on top. From the pastry bag, put the mashed potatoes on parchment paper. In this case, first we plant the bottom of the nest in the form of a solid circle, and then around the circumference we increase the nest walls in height. The height of the "nest" at your discretion. When the nests are ready, put the filling in the middle of the "nest", in this case from fried mushrooms. Put a piece of soft cream cheese on top of the filling. Now we put the baking sheet in the oven at 220 - 240 degrees, so that the mashed potatoes are covered with a light creamy crust, and the cheese is melted and browned. This will take you 5-10 minutes.

Step 4: Serve mashed potato nests.

After our “nests” are browned, remove them from the oven and let cool, then carefully remove from the pan and arrange on a dish. At the same time, you can pre-decorate the dish with salad greens, and on top of the nest you can decorate with greens. You can serve "nests" with vegetable salad. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - This dish is served hot.

- - In order for the mashed potatoes not to be so colorful, before boiling the potatoes, soak them in water for about 20 minutes, then the starch will come out of the potato, and it will be less colorful, and will remain as satisfying.

- - The oven is best set to preheat in advance.
