Ingredients for making a cake for a Beloved

For shortcakes:

Chicken eggs 3 pcs.
Sugar 1 cup
Liquid honey 4 tbsp. spoons
Premium wheat flour 2.5 cups
Baking soda 1 tsp
Baking powder for dough 1 sachet (10 gr.)

For cream:

Butter 200 gr.
Boiled condensed milk 1 can (380 gr.)

For mastic:

Milk Powder 200 gr.
Powdered Sugar 200 gr.
Condensed milk 4-5 tbsp. spoons to taste
Lemon juice 1-2 tsp
Red food coloring to taste

Cooking a cake for the Beloved:

Step 1: Knead the dough.

In an enameled metal bowl, break the eggs, add sugar to them and beat with a mixer until a homogeneous consistency. Then add honey to the eggs and beat again. We put a bowl in a water bath - for this we put a bowl in a pan of a larger diameter, filled with water, and put this design on low heat. At the same time, make sure that the water does not boil. Continuing to beat, we introduce a baking powder and soda into the mixture. Beat until the mixture is doubled. Then remove the bowl from the water bath and leave to cool. Across 30-40 minutes add flour sifted through a sieve to the mixture. Mix the dough thoroughly until a smooth, lump-free consistency is obtained. Put the finished dough in a bowl, cover with cling film and put in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours it is possible and more. During this time, the dough should come up, become more loose and soft, which simplifies further cooking.

Step 2: Bake the cakes.

If you do not have a special baking dish in the shape of a heart, you will have to manually form the cakes. To do this, on parchment paper, gently draw a heart of the size you want the future cake to be. Put the paper on a baking sheet. We divide the dough into 4 parts. We stretch the first part of the test with our palms in the shape of a heart on paper (you can help yourself with a rolling pin). We prick the dough with a fork in several places. Preheat the oven up to 180 degreesput the cake there and bake 5-6 minutes. The cake should turn out soft and magnificent. We bake the remaining cakes by analogy with the first, but we roll out each subsequent cake with a diameter less than the previous one 0.5 cm Finished cakes are cooled on a wire rack.

Step 3: Prepare the cream.

We get the butter out of the refrigerator in advance (for 1.5-2 hours)so that it has time to soften. Cut the softened butter into pieces, put in a bowl and beat with a mixer for 2 minutes. Then add the boiled condensed milk to the oil and continue to whip the cream until a homogeneous consistency.

Step 4: Putting the cake together.

Each cake is trimmed according to the pattern, cutting off irregularities from the edges. Then we lay the cakes on top of each other in a pile, starting with the largest in diameter and ending with the smallest. Each cake, except the top, is coated with cream. Then cover the cake with cream completely: first of all, apply the cream on the sides in several passes, with the last cream we lubricate the top cake. Remove the missed cake in the refrigerator on 1 hour.

Step 5: Decorate the cake with mastic.

For decoration, we prepare mastic from condensed milk. We mix powdered sugar with powdered milk, add condensed milk and lemon juice to them. Knead the mastic to a homogeneous consistency. Keep track of the consistency - it should be thick enough, for this you may need a little more dry ingredients, it depends on the density of the condensed milk. Separate from the finished mastic 1/8 part - we will not mix it with dye, it will be white. The rest of the mastic is painted with the help of food dye in scarlet color. Roll the red mastic into a thick rolling pin 3-5 mm. We gently cover the cake with this layer: first we put the mastic on one side, and then gently roll it all over the cake. We smooth the mastic on the cake so that there are no folds and irregularities, cut off the excess mastic with a knife. Roll the white mastic into a thick rolling pin 2 mm and cut flowers out of it with the help of plows - special molds. If there are no molds, you can carefully cut the flowers by hand with a knife. Now show imagination and decorate the cake. The inscriptions and rims can be made from icing (for this we beat egg white with powdered sugar). We arrange flowers and inscriptions to your liking.

Step 6: Serve the cake for the Beloved.

We serve the finished cake to a loved one on a beautiful dish with tea or champagne. Enjoy your meal!
