Ingredients for making a salad with fish and crackers

Making a salad with fish and crackers:

Step 1: Prepare the ingredients.

We take care of vegetables and herbs - they need to be washed with running cold water and dried with paper towels. To dry the greens, shake it several times. We cut tomatoes in quarters or medium-sized slices, cucumbers in circles or cubes, and lettuce leaves in middle slices by hand - this vegetable does not like a knife. You need to chop the greens with a sharp knife on a cutting board, but you can leave a couple of branches for decoration. Peel the garlic and chop it with a garlic squeezer. And a few words about the fish - if you bought a ready-made fillet, then thaw it at room temperature and carefully see if there are any seeds left on the fish - they need to be removed. If you have a whole fish, then it must be cut into fillets - on our website there are videos with valuable instructions on how to do this.

Step 2: Fry the fish fillet.

Fillet of pangasius or other fish that you cook, you need to salt and pepper before frying. Pour some olive oil into the pan and heat it. Add chopped garlic to the oil and fry a little so that the garlic gives all its flavor to the oil. We spread the pieces of fish fillet in a pan and fry them until golden brown for 2-4 minutes. Turn the fish over with a culinary spatula and fry for another 1-2 minutes, and then cover the pan with a lid and reduce the heat. Wait a couple more minutes - and the fish is ready! Before adding to the salad, the fish must be cut into small pieces and cool! Step 3: Prepare a salad with fish and crackers. We need a salad bowl in which we will cook and serve the salad. At the bottom of the salad bowl, spread the chopped lettuce leaves, and on top - cucumbers, tomatoes, pieces of fried fish fillet and greens. Add salt, pepper and herbs to taste, and then season with olive oil and vinegar. Mix the salad properly so that all the ingredients are saturated with dressing.

Step 4: We make and serve a salad with fish and crackers.

Before serving, you need to add the last ingredient - crackers or fragrant croutons, the recipe for which we have considered before. Why last? So that croutons do not get wet and do not lose their crunch! This delicious salad is perfect for both a regular dinner and a festive one. It will surprise your guests and loved ones! - - Salad ingredients can be changed at your discretion. For example, add Chinese cabbage instead of lettuce and exclude cucumbers.

- - Instead of individual spices, you can use a mixture of spices "Italian herbs".
