Striped Cake Ingredients

For the test:

Cooking Striped Cakes:

Step 1: the first step in preparing the dough.

First of all, we need to whip the butter 250 grams with sugar. To do this, it is better to use a mixer, as it will be more convenient and faster. But if you have a regular whisk at hand - it will also work! So, in a deep bowl, mix the ingredients well until a homogeneous mass is formed and until sugar is completely dissolved in oil.

Step 2: the second step in preparing the dough.

Now we need to add the yolks to our creamy sugar mixture. To do this, we break the eggs one by one and, separating the protein into a cup, carefully introduce it into a bowl with a mixture of yolk. At the same time, we continue to constantly interfere with the improvised tool.

Step 3: the third stage of preparation of the test.

Now it's time for flour. First, sift the flour through a sieve into a deep plate so that the dough breathes and is well saturated with oxygen. After we add starch to it and mix everything well with a spoon. Now we gradually add flour with starch to our egg-cream-sugar mixture and mix well at the same time so that test lumps do not form.

Step 4: prepare the proteins.

Grasp the squirrels. Pour them from a cup into a deep bowl, preferably a narrow one, and begin to whisk with a mixer or whisk. That’s the whole charm of the mixer, since a deep measuring cup almost always goes to it, and it’s easy to beat the ingredients. So, beat the proteins until a dense foam is formed.

Step 5: the fourth step in preparing the dough.

Now the proteins are carefully introduced into the dough and mix well until smooth. And only after that we divide the dough into two parts. The first part remains in the same bowl, and the second is transferred to another bowl. And now alternately add in the first - vanilla sugar, and in the second - cocoa. All is well again mixed with a tablespoon. We got two multi-colored pieces of the test component of the dish! One is beige, the other is brown.

Step 6: bake the cakes.

Preheat oven to temperature 200 ° C. Meanwhile, the baking dish and its walls are well lubricated with the remaining piece of butter and covered with baking paper. We spread the brown dough with a spoon, leveling it around the edges. The number of spoons depends on the size of your mold. It is important that you get a thin layer of cake. And just put in the oven for 4-6 minutes. Watch out for pastries so that they don’t burn. Due to the fact that thin cakes are obtained, they are very quickly prepared.

Step 7: continue to bake cakes.

After the first cake is ready, by the same analogy we spread the second, but already beige cake. Flattening with a spoon, bake it the same amount of time in the oven. And so we alternate the cakes in color until both types of dough are over.

Step 8: prepare the icing.

Now we need to melt each component of the glaze. To do this, first break the chocolate into pieces and put them in a regular Turk. Constantly stirring over low heat, dissolve the chocolate. After we pour it into a deep plate. Put butter in the same Turk. Do not wash the dishes. And on low heat we also dissolve the creamy ingredient. Gently pour the butter into the chocolate and add the cream at room temperature to the plate. Mix well with a spoon until smooth.

Step 9: Serve Striped Cakes.

When the base of the cakes is ready, put it on a tray and cut it with a knife into small pieces - cakes. And now with a spoon we coat the top with melted glaze. If there is no chocolate at hand, the icing can be prepared without it. If desired, baking can be decorated with berries, for example, strawberries or raspberries. But in my case, I did not have time to do this, because the cakes turned out to be very tasty, mouth-watering and simply “melted in my mouth”! Good appetite!

Recipe Tips:

- - Instead of glaze, you can use egg whipped with sugar. It also turns out very delicious cakes.

- - For the preparation of Striped cakes, homemade cream will be an excellent substitute for 35% cream. They have a higher percentage of fat content, and they also better convert the components of the glaze into a thick mass.

- - When you cut ready-made cakes into cakes, be sure to use a sharp knife to make baking with smooth beautiful edges.

- - The top finished cake layer can be soaked with a small amount of rum or cognac, and then glaze on top. Then the striped cakes turn out even tastier, just don’t give them to the children, because all the same, the baked goods are alcohol-containing.
